Looks like a gradual decline since Halloren and Mauk moved on to me Otto, especially the last month with suspension/injuries and Covid around. I don’t reckon the 17 yo or the ever changing defence make up equates to doing much at the end of the season.

I thought Balckwood looked lively early on. He's better playing the role he's playing today (centre forward with players around him) and not the sole striker role. Gives him the opportunity to run at players and create a bit more.

Up until the red I was happy with his selection.

I think that’s a fair call. Mauk & Halloran have left a massive hole. This is where our young lads get the opportunity to step up & take their chance. I think they can do it. Popovic for example has surprised me how he’s played.

I don’t have any expectations. If we win a finals game I think we’ll have over achieved, with the players we’ve had out.

(Say it quietly, but the only thing keeping us in 3rd is the terrible form of the teams below us.)
