Yep, I’m serious. Isa plays his best football as a lone 6 while Clough and Mauk gives our midfield some much needed balance which we’ve been crying out for years for.I think we should revert back to last season’s system with just one 6 especially as we currently have both Mauk and Clough.
Seriously ? Well as long as you don't mean that one 6 is D'Arrigo, who I notice isn't even on your bench. So I guess not.
I think Saturday night proved that having Mauk and Clough starting together is a luxury we can't afford.
Juande gets picked over D’Arrigo on the bench because he’s the better player while D’Arrigo has had a poor season and could do with a spell.

Forecasted to be 29 degrees on Saturday. Bit warm for the players but lovely for those lounging in the stands with a cold Coopers.

Really looking forward to this one. I’m not going to miss the Lady Reds taking on the MV beforehand either. If they win by two clear goals they jump into second place on the ladder. The momentum will help the men’s game. As long as we don’t play three NPL players across the back again, we should do OK against the Mariners.

Geez Sub, it took you a while to bite on that one. I was starting to worry
I guess Issy is a better prospect as a solo holder than Louis. Plus we won't be up against the best number 10 in the league this week.
I honestly think it has to be Mauk starting though, with Clough replacing him for the inevitable goodbye substitution. Just not enough work rate with both of them on the pitch for me.
I like the look of the French dude in the Mariners midfield. A touch of the Yaya's about him. Toure that is, not Dukuly

Bit of a worry. They may be ageing but we are weaker without them.Isa and Jako are out.

Tratt-Barr will start in defence (who'd have thought I'd be writing that at the start of the year!) and Juande will partner D'Arrigo at DM I would have thought. Mauk in the 10 with Clough to come off the bench.
Should be a stronger lineup than last week but CCM are no pushovers.

Just realised Timotheou has been dropped from the squad altogether. Could we have seen the last of him in a Reds shirt?
Also hope we get to see Alex Popovic make his debut as well.

Yeah he must be finished now. His last few insta posts are his highlights reel so he's looking for a new gig it seems.Just realised Timotheou has been dropped from the squad altogether. Could we have seen the last of him in a Reds shirt?

I don't disagree with the sentiment .... but the paste tense of 'forecast' is 'forecast'.Forecasted to be 29 degrees on Saturday. Bit warm for the players but lovely for those lounging in the stands with a cold Coopers.

Let's hope so. He is as slow as me .... the game has already passed him by. Time to move on, son.Just realised Timotheou has been dropped from the squad altogether. Could we have seen the last of him in a Reds shirt?

Interesting point. I checked it on Dr Google and you are correct in common usage, though "Forecasted" is disproportionately used in financial writing which is where I do most of my work.I don't disagree with the sentiment .... but the paste tense of 'forecast' is 'forecast'.Forecasted to be 29 degrees on Saturday. Bit warm for the players but lovely for those lounging in the stands with a cold Coopers.
I didn't forecast Irakunda's late equaliser however. Not was it forecasted
