Three balls on the ground but it can not help them!
Game over!
Big smile on my face.
Even bigger grin on on Ross Aloisi!
Excellent!

Look, if City took their chances and if they hadn't played 4 games in 10 days or whatever, we may be looking at a very different result...
SAYING THAT....
What a great win. Many consider Kisnorbo the best manager in the league, well he was outfoxed tonight.
They've a budget 3 times our size so we had to play to our strengths;
- Mauk and Jako were like battering rams
- The wingers found space
- Great to have D'Arrigo back at DM
- Ibusuki was a little off but both imports showed glimpses and more importantly, both are fit-for-purpose i.e they solve a strategic need
- Still have problems at CB but I'm glad to see them stick by Barr, no point going back to the well for the others
Finally, I just have this feeling that Toure-Clough could be a very dangerous pairing.

Its too bad that Mauk is leaving, cos I didn't mind the look of him and Clough in midfield with D'Arrigo behind.
The double pivot with 2 of Isaias/Juande/D'Arrigo can get in the bin forever!

Go Reds!
Blackwood not selected?
Clough can make some great deliveries, we just have to learn how to use them.

Love Toure's finishing in those situations.
Commentators have been going on about how good it is to have young wingers who will run at defenders. I'm much more pleased that there are young strikers who will take a shot, rather than do some 5-dimensional chess to draw a penalty/red card to avoid the risk of missing.

Like I said .... we are Kryptonite to MC Petrodollars. They assume that they can beat us by just turning up. Then we shock them, because we want it more and they sook like the over-rated, spoilt millionaires that they are.
Their fans are furious on their own fan forum - and some are already praising CV's awareness and ability to change structures and personnel over Kisnorbo's dead coaching hand.

My God it was an awful game to watch at times. Not a great advert for the league with all the turnovers and errors.
But a nice smash and grab win over the cashed up plastic tards
