Imagine how good we’d be if we started games like we finished them

Bernardo fully deserved his goal, looked our biggest threat and got his reward.

Wow. This team really does play right to the death.
So exciting watching.
Happy with the draw in the end and thought we deserved it.
For me the biggest positive among the players was the improvement in Barr.

Not the greatest by us by any means, but certainly not the worst. We should have won all 3 points against an overconfident Sadney last week - and would have done, if Hitoshi's penalty had gone in and Adam Kersey hadn't cheated us out of the second penalty.
Anyway, we got the point today, despite Goody's crossing being well off and some casual defending in the first half. Did anyone else notice that Bernardo and the new boy, Zach Clough, started linking up almost immediately? That could be a very interesting dynamic for the future. Both look very similar; slippery, skillful on the ball, able to cross, able to run at defenders. One to keep an eye on for the next few matches.

Happy with Clough’s few minutes. More to come from him as the players get to know each other. Definitely looks like a 10 rather than an 8 playing as a 10.

Yes, I agree .... give him a licence to roam in and behind defenders, rather than pulling the strings from the midfield.

Love them as I wasn't able to catch the game so reading through the commentary now!Half time 1-0.
Are my multiple posts just irritating, or potentially helpful for someone without a stream?

Interesting to hear such positive reviews of the game on here.
Not having watched it I saw Welly had 3 or 4 one-on-one chances with Gauci. Would have thought in another game it could have been 3 or 4 nil to them.
They have been in good form and a very different team to the one we beat 4-0.
Still picking up points but soon we are going to require a lot more 3s if we are to make the six.

Couldnt watch the game as was busy working, but no problem thought I, I have a Paramount + subscription and I'll watch the match replay. Well got to say, how long does it take for Paramount to get a match replay up. 1 hour, 2 hours or even 3? Bein seem able to get a full replay up for serie a within 1-2 hours of match end, but Paramount seem to work on the theory that it will take as long they want.
Its pretty crap, you cant pause, you cant record, you cant replay or even retstart from the beginning if you are able to watch mid-match. They managed to get a mini-match up by 10pm, but no full replay. Its basically 10Play with a subscription fee and pretty poor feature wise.
So gave in and only watched the mini-match and have to say on what I saw, the Nix should have scored more but for Gauci. Cant say muchmore than that although the one play they had of Clough, he looked promising.

Totally agree, Claw. Paramount + is rubbish; it should be called "Paramount -", because it is such a poor service that they give us. For all its faults as a company, Foxtel was a far better product. It's a real shame that Foxtel couldn't see a future for the A-League and walked away with their chequebook. (They took their money to the NRL and the ARU; backwards step in my view, seeing as rugby of both varieties are dying sports, but there we are).
While we are on the topic of media, how rubbish is the 'Keep up' website?! It's difficult to navigate, stupidly complex and not at all intuitive. Presumably the FFA is paying a fortune to Keep up to have the A-Leagues, Soccerroos and Matildas games on their platform, but it really is rubbish. Their own websites (a-league.com.au and w-league.com.au) were far superior. I wonder how large the bonus was for the executive at the FFA who decided that outsourcing their webpages was a good idea?

Agree red tide on keep up, google search is much easier to know what is going on. I get it’s been a disrupted season but don’t even know when a game is on most of the time anymore.
Keep up is just a heap of info thrown in pile, about as user friendly as the paramount interface where they couldn’t make it much harder to find game streams!!
