We have momentum of sorts, A stuttering, slipping and sliding momentum, but momentum none-the-less.
The Bernardo - Nestory combo on the right appears an outright bonanza and I cannot see that changing.
Cavallo made put some nice balls in from the left against the Jets which will put him in contention for a starting spot given Goody will be fresh off the plane, even if he manages to get back in time.
Isa is back. Here's to hoping he gets a rousing "Vamos" from the crowd at Coopers.

Sydney are stuttering a bit too, but they always get the line ball refs decisions against us.

After tonight’s result …. if we beat Sydney we go top!
Typical Adelaide, that means we’ll fail to take the chance. 🤪
What a crazy league this year.

We should win this. Sadney are wildly over-rated - and, as usual, they will completely under-estimate us.
All we have to do is turn up and bang in the first one - preferably in the first 15 minutes - and then we'll be away. The problem, of course, is that for all our dominance in the first 15 or 20, we don't seem to be able to put them away.
If we are ahead at half-time, then we will go on to win. If not, then .... :-7

Worst ever pre-game pep talk: “all we have to do is turn up”
We’ll have to be on top of our game. Don’t underestimate Sydney and their ability to take advantage of suspect refereeing.

Probably another draw.
I'd assume we will be without Goodwin but it sounds like Mauk will be back in CAM.
I'd start Hiro upfront. Cavallo / Kitto on the left. Timo in defence with Tratt's absence.
Isa back alongside Juande.
Irankunda on the bench, replacing Cavallo at 60 if ineffectual.
Dukuly and Blackwood watching from home.

Gauci
Lopez Barr Jakobsen Kitto
Isaias Juande
Brook Mauk Goodwin
Hiroshi
Hall, Timotheou, Cavallo, D’Arrigo, Irankunda, Bernardo, Toure
Irankunda to come on early in the second half for the fatigued Goodwin, Toure comes on for Hiroshi at around 70 odd mins, D’Arrigo comes on for whichever DM has a yellow while Bernardo comes on for Mauk in injury time when he gets subbed late so he can be applauded off for his last game for the club.

Ryan Kitto talks to the media.
And now the boss.
And now the boss.
