Nervous start with MV missing a couple of very good chances, but we worked some great chances of our own (in my opinion more beautifully constructed chances) and I thought the goal was well deserved.
Sitting in front of a fan who one minute was saying “stop passing the ball so quickly, take your time, take a touch” (when our midfield were trying to open up their defence) and then literally a couple of minutes later saying “it’s too slow, they have to move the ball faster” (when our centre backs were linking up with Juande and he was sizing up options before making a pass into midfield).

Looks like getting the win against the Nix has broken the shackles and the side is playing more free. Hopefully whatever transfer fees the club sees out of Halloran and Mauk go towards locking down Goody. He and Lopez are making it look easy on the right.

Feel a bit sorry for Cavallo. Looks a bit lost on the left wing. Geria has bullied him a couple of times. He needs a goal or assist to get his confidence back.

The pressure being applied on the left from Caletti, Kitto and Cavallo is immense. Forcing Victory into so many errors.

Adelaide United 1-1 Melbourne Victory
MV score from a poorly defended free kick.
Come on guys that has undone all your good work of the last 60min.
Bernardo on
Mauk off
And was that it for our Captain?
