I guess the lucky part for the midfield is that most would have a couple of postions to feature in whether that be DM & CM or CM & AM.

Well, it has to be Isa, doesn't it. But who next? I loved the way Paul Reid went about his business. He just nicks in ahead of the legendary Jonas Salley, who was great fun but a little error and red mist prone. RA never really did it for me. D'Arrigo could have been number two but he seems to have been misunderstood by Carl and plays out of position and nowhere near as well these days.

Isa, however I went for Malik for the second position. It was sad to see him go, really developed into a good footballer with us. Salley was my next choice, I hear he's back in Adelaide with an NPL coaching gig.

A few others in with a shout but for me, after Isaias, our inaugural Capitano Ross Aloisi has to get the nod.
Also I reckon Cam Watson should be on the poll list, he played in a few positions in his time but I remember him as a pretty reliable DM

Watto should probably be included in the poll for each position on the field.

I have fond memories of Paul Reid being so solid and a hard nut so he gets the back up spot to Isais

My fond memories of Reid were him in a more forward role in CM. Not too disimilar to Isa commencing a lot of attacks but more as an #8
Rosco gets the nod from me for several seasons on quality, being part of a premiership side and showing loyalty to the club.

I wanted to vote for Usucar just for fronting up with Muscat (that was him wasn't it ?)
But in the end I went with Ross to back up Issy. Club legends just don't come any more passionate - cut him and he'd bleed red...well you know what I mean
