At the risk of putting the mockers on it…

If (and it’s a big if) we get past Sydney and The Bulls beat City we will host our second Grand Final in Adelaide.

There’s also an outside chance that the APL will shift the GF to our fair city if the Covid restrictions in Melbourne prevent a full crowd attending.

So… Coopers or Adelaide Oval ? Would we get another 50,000 with the way the league has fallen so dramatically off the sporting map over the last few years ? No 8,000 WSW fans to fill up one end this time and Macarthur would struggle to fill the away bay at Hindmarsh to be fair.

I looked it up 2 weeks ago, there is an AFL game on at AO on the scheduled final day.

The government would probably restrict a AO GF here to 50% capacity even tho Footy is full!
