Yep.Veart has lost us this one. Had all the momentum but got completely derailed by the formation change.
This has happened several times this year.
Vaert's in-game management and team selections are clearly achilles heels of his.

His unfair freezing out of Marrone has left a sour taste in my mouth too tbh.I'm not a huge fan of Carl Veart's coaching. His substitutions are either too late, ineffective or 3+ strikers on the field at the same time. He seems to have no plan B ever.I know I'll get slaughtered for this but Veart's in game management is pretty ordinary. Two weeks we’ve dismantled our effective midfield & changed formation. Last week we held in ... just. Thus week we’ve paid the price.
Literally the only thing he changes in the second half is throw on a couple of strikers regardless of the scoreline.
I don't think anyone's doubting that but he has a couple of very glaring weaknesses as well,Veart has done great things this year in many ways. But no one’s perfect.
They can be played together if the midfield behind them is structured right, but Veart got it all wrong in this game in the mids after he started making subs.Cannot play the toure bros together, they offer nothing defensively.
