2 of my favourite things reading this squad list:

1. All the youth players that are playing for the first team;
2. Seeing the names of past legends listed - their sons playing for the same club!

Best young attackers and goalkeepers in the country, we need to get some more quality mids and defenders coming through the system though

Sounds like the restrictions on the NPL side have be reduced and more fringe A-league player should see more game time. This is a great step forward. The game has lost so many promising talents to a lack of decent game time.

We caused an upset by beating Campbelltown 2-1 with Dukuly and Yull scoring. Alex Mullen scored for them.

Important win too as it was away from home. We seem to be going ok after a shaky start.

3-1 win against Sturt with Popovic, Kebede and Smith scoring. I believe that puts us up to second on the table, equal on points with Cumberland.

Kebede was out top scorer last season and I think he was involved in some of the pre-season friendlies as well. Could be a player to look out for.

Dizzying heights; not sure we've ever been this high before.

Haven't posted in this thread in a couple of weeks but our last two games have been 1-1 draws.

The first was against Raiders with Pac scoring while the second was against Olympic with Irankunda scoring.

After 8 games, we are third in the table just one point behind Comets and Cumberland.
