Shocking but not surprising from Victory fans. This is the same fanbase that bullied and trolled Josh Hope into retirement and celebrated Mitch Austin getting an ACL injury.
Disgraceful.
Appalling !

Common sense tells me this is just a couple of dimwit teens who do not understand the gravity of such comments. By all means we should call this shit out but I will refuse to assume this is a reflection of MV fans or football fans in general.

This is farked up and I expect the A-league and the clubs to take some action.
They didn’t do anything when their fans threw a glass bottle at City’s keeper during a W-League game earlier this season so I’m not expecting much to happen here either.

I missed a vast majority of the game so how did the likes of Cavallo, Al Hassan and Gauci go?
Gauci brilliant. Very assured, 3 or 4 big saves. Stood up early when Victory were cutting through us at will. May have been slightly off his line for their goal but it was a fine strike.

Cavallo I thought looked decent. Bit more of an attacking threat than Caletti. I would start him every week until we get Juande in.

Al Hassan I thought battled well but never really got into the game. Still working his way back from fitness.
Awesome that Cavallo and Gauci did well.

Hope we see Al Hassan back at his best soon.

“We are appalled by the comments made on Kusini’s Instagram account,” Adelaide chief executive Nathan Kosmina said. “We pride ourselves on inclusivity and diversity, and to have one of our players subjected to racial abuse is immensely upsetting.

“The entire club is behind Kusini and will support him as the matter is investigated further by the League and police.”

Surely if the names of the authors of the racist abuse are attached to the comments, then it should be really easy to find the culprits? I've never used Instagram, but it looks like the morons have used their real names to post those hateful comments.

Shhhh... we'll never know.... just forget about it and move on... we said we're helping the police with their investigation... isn't that enough?

Sarcasm obviously, I really hope something actually happens from this but I think the outcome will disappoint me.

Excellent interview by the young man.
Obviously speaking from the heart in his own words, and not just a pre-prepared statement.
A credit to his family and the club.
