After the match is before the match ...

A fourth win on the trot?
Possible but we should be extra wary of the wounded beast.

Not so confident after there hiding tonight, this is a real danger match now. I'd be happy to leave Melbourne with a point. I think victory will be fired up

Victory can’t defend, play well and we win.
They will be fired up, but withstand the first 20 minutes and we should be ok. But it’s alway tricky against MV

Spot on. Defend like Trojans for the first 20 minutes and then unleash Goodwin, Toure and Juric.

They have weak points everywhere, but we need to concentrate on Roux, who is notorious for not shutting down forwards and not tracking back.

There are going to be some ugly tackles in that first 20 minutes.

They'll be up for it but they'll be as brittle as thin glass after a 6-0 drubbing. If we go ahead watch them fall apart.
I'm loving where they are at but it's not good for the league.
But....who cares!! :nana:

I can't remember which one of you champions commented on here once:
"the filth are in dire, dire trouble and I can't wipe the smirk off my face".

Makes me smile every time, and never has it rung more true than this game.

Would love to put another 6 past them and send Brebner to jobseeker.

Love to see the filth suffer ... REALLY suffer. They are the most hated sporting organisation in the country.

Will be a tough game which we *should* win but there are no certainties in the HAL.

Our away form has been borderline woeful so we need to build on our last away win.

If Juric returns our forward line is looking bloody strong. Jako and Strain give a lot of surety to the back four too.

When is that Spanish midfielder getting here?

One day ;) See what I did there.

The flights have been booked and re booked multiple times. They are waiting for the Aus govt. to approve the entry. Then we'll have 2 weeks of quarantine. So let's say minimum 3 weeks before he could line up for us.

Its nice to see victory struggle, though I cant help but notice how fickle we are as fans.

Only a few weeks ago the overall feeling was the manager had no clue and our players are barely league standard with the owners living in La la land unwilling to pay for talent.

Ridiculous. We have a long and proud traditional of splashing the cash for big-name players. Never forget a 40 y.o. Romario played five games for the club....and scored!

Nice pick up. Anyone would think this was a football forum, the way we swing about.

Not sure it was an "overall" feeling. Just the usual knee jerk reaction from the forum's doom and gloom brigade
