Looking forward to seeing the ins and outs for this one. We can keep building on our momentum here if we can put out a strong side.

This would be my choice if all available-

Delianov
Marrone-Elsey-Jakobsen-Smith
D'Arrigo-J.Lopez
Goodwin-Mauk-Halloran
Juric

Bench- AH Toure, Mo Toure, Pacifique, Timotheu, Cavallo, Calleti, GK (can't think of his name atm)

Smith lucky to hold his spot but I need Javi in midfield so I can drop Calleti. I liked the GMH combination play last round and I'm hoping Juric compliments that. Goody and Halloran playing on their "wrong" sides worked well last week, without an experienced target in the middle it made sense for them to cut inside onto their preferred foot. Having Jueic back in will give them the option to switch at times to change it up.

With the squad Carl had picked, this is what I’ll go with.

Delianov
Lopez Elsey Jakobsen Smith
D’Arrigo
Mauk Cavallo
Halloran Juric Goodwin

Gauci, Strain, Timotheou, Caletti, Niyongabire, A Toure, M Toure

Strain to build up some match fitness from the bench before slotting back in, otherwise he’d be one of my first names on the team sheet.

Given we have both the Toure’s and Yengi all competing for bench spots, one of them is always going to miss out so I really think the club should loan one of Al Hassan or Yengi next season.

The Toure brothers will be gone in the off season for sure.

What did everyone think of Cavallo last week? Better than Caletti?

Pretty sure I read that Mo will be staying until he turns 18 so we can enjoy him for another year at least. As for Al Hassan, he’s struggling to make the match day squad atm so I can’t see too many overseas clubs being keen.

I'm finding it difficult to get behind the coaching staff who have frozen out Marrone and Kitto. Baffles me.

Are they both engaged in full training? I am not sure if either is carrying persistent niggles.

Yes, I found Cavallo had a encouraging debut and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.

I would have thought they would be on the "injured" list if so. But they are not.

I also follow the club's socials and they are often photographed at training. Obviously just not selected.

They're not world-beaters, but starters or at least bench-worthy over a good handful of players IMO.
