We missed Mauk in the middle.

Only 3 days until next game so we may well see Niyongabire/M.Toure starting or at least coming on a lot earlier.

D'arrigo looks kind of anonymous in the current set up so far. He's not been much of an attacking threat aside from the odd good touch and most of the defensive clean up he was doing last year is Caletti's job now.

Was it Yull that forced the turnover that led to Toure's goal or someone else? the broadcast didn't dwell on that aspect of the goal.

Agree on D'Arrigo.

I watch the replay a few times and it might've been him but I can't tell for sure.

Classic case of playing a player out of position.

We've spent the past 2 seasons developing him for a DM role and are now trying to play him further forward.

We just don't have the right balance in midfield since Troisi left.

I'm hoping Lopez settles things but he's not a solution to our lack of creativity in number 10.

Agree, I think if Mauk and Lopez play ahead of Caletti and Konstandopolous we win that game but that also highlights how threadbare we are.

Listening to the post game presser it seems Mauk is the most likely to miss the Victory game out of him, Strain and Lopez.
