AUFC seems to be the Kryptonite for the MC Petrodollars. They swagger into town, awash with money, expecting to sweep all before them - and then the men in red give them a nasty shock. Case in point - the 2019 FFA Cup Final, still one of the best night's that I have had at Hindmarsh.

We have the strange knack of beating teams that should beat us easily and then dropping games against the teams below us.

I'm really not sure about this one though. MC Petrodollars were not convincing last week against the Meow; their first half looked like the team had only met 5 minutes before kickoff. We should have won 2 - 0 last week, but for two goalline clearances. On paper, the MC Petrodollars are much stronger than our bunch of talented and deeply committed kids, but I don't know .... If Tomi Juric gets the service from the wings and Calletti and D'Arrigo can marshal the midfield - of which they showed glimpses last week against the lesser United - then who knows?

I can understand the mask wearing but I certainly can't get my head around why there is allocated seating when the cap is 12,000+ and there is no social distancing in the stands. If you can choose to sit anywhere you like pre-match then why can't you just rock up and choose a seat as per normal ??
