Interesting that Carl has come out and said "I've done enough" before this game.
Everything from him up to now has been the old "one game at a time" cliché type response, and that he will worry about getting the job fulltime after the season's done.
Betraying a lack of confidence in our chances to keep the unbeaten run going perhaps ?

Probably that the team's fortunes are now up to the players on the park and results elsewhere. There ins't much more he can do apart from timely substitutes.

Perth showing why they don't deserve to play finals football. They have been terrible since the restart.

Oh well. We had a great hub campaign. Plenty to be happy about.

A line under the season 2019 /20.

Time to move on and to look forward to what should be an interesting season 2020/21.

You finish seventh in an eleven team comp....you have no right to be in the finals.
All good. The lads can come home now and reset for next season. I hope they give Carl the job and they continue down the 'local' path. Exciting times for the Reds, for us and for SA football.
The last few weeks have shown that we are good enough and have plenty more to come.
Maybe one more key, experienced central defender and we'll be moving up the table.
I don't need us to win every year if we keep starting young players and showing signs of hope.
