42 goals conceded, 5 less than the Mariners in last place who have won 4 games from 21
12 losses, second most in the league and more than second last Victory

But we don't need to buy more defenders. Get absolutely stuffed.

Even if we signed more defenders, the coach doesn't know how to organise the team defensively.

42 fucking goals conceded...

Wow. Verbeek has lost the players. He doesn’t even seem interested on the sidelines. The crowd was really turning on the players. Something is rotten with this team.

Seems fairly clear there’s a huge disconnect between players and coach at the moment...yet we’ve had a heap of players signing on to stick around next year. Do they know something we don’t?

Poor performance.

Everyones heads were on more pressing issues and fair enough, there are things more important than football

Can’t remember a more toothless attack ( how many shots did we have on target?) and such heavy defeats ever. Must be poor coaching. What’s going to happen in the remaining games when we’re up against teams with decent midfields?

On paper our mid is as good as any.

But when the coach loses the players, you're done. What are we now, 14 conceded in 3 weeks?

Remember wheb we could havd signed Bobo?

Verbeek copping a lot of fair criticism but I don't think Bruce and Piet should be overlooked. Not signing a defender since Reagan left is pathetic. Is Bruce up to it? The signing of Chen has had no positive outcome, what economic benefits has his signing achieved?

I hate dumping coaches during the season, but where can we go from here? he's not going to change, the players are going to be the same.

A new coach is going to inherit a lot of average players, we're handing out extensions to players that would struggle to make the Mariners bench atm.

Fox sports saying the defence is man on man, dragging us out of position. Need to revert to structure.

That might explain the RB wandering over to the left wing to follow a player and some of the awful cb positions. Surely he can’t persist with this for another week?

Doesn’t explain how attackers run into the box before our defenders after giving our defenders a head start. Several weeks in a row. Out run. Lacking desire.

Piet in particular has been silent, he's backing his man in.

I agree they deserve some criticism too.

I disagree on the contract extensions, Konstandopolous is a bit up and down but probably on a pretty low wage. The rest are proven A-League players but are woefully out of form at the moment. This part to me is mostly on the coach.

Crossing that white line onto a football pitch allows you to forget about anything and everything else that is going on.
