Everyone else has a derby. What are we playing for? Santos Head Offices ?
fckn johnny-come-latelies can take it from our cold dead hands

We share a border. Maybe move the game to Birdsville. The marketing team at FFA can then come up with a fancy name for it. The losing side's state gets Birdsville. Return fixtures at the other end of the track, Marree (or maybe make it Innamincka for some real home-turf advantage).

I think I'm onto something here.
The Cooper Basin Cup.

Torrential rain in Brisbane - pack the floaties and work on the long ball game
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Not certain where to put this so here it is ...

The highlights of the charity game.

That's terrible news about Nathan.
We wish him a swift and full recovery.

Any news on Blackwood?
I read he is also injured.

B)
Blackwood has a slight calf strain but Verbeek criticises him for not treating the injury properly and for not being professional.

Marrone is now out injured as well so we now have 7 players (I included Yengi In this) who would normally be in or around the match day squad out injured.

Was Marrone injured in the charity match?

Who is the most threadbare squad this season?

We still have enough quality to get the job done but damn our bench will be thin.

It seems the initial contact to Marrone that lead to the torn muscle occurred during one of the last training sessions.

Interesting way of winning the changerooms.
I know many Dutch people and they all tell it like it is, which I prefer, but.....

I'd love to see Mohamed Toure come on 5 minutes from the end and bag a goal. The media would go into meltdown :D

According to Wikipedia the youngest A-League player was Alusine Fofanah (WSW) in 2014 - 15 years, 189 days. Would Mo break that record if he made it on the pitch?

Oldest A-League player: Romário (AUFC) in 2006 - 40 years 320 days

Well, I'd rather see a young kid score than Kitto's handball go for a pen.
