Are umbrellas allowed in the stadium? Could be wet one.
UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are permitted into the Stadium but, for the comfort of others, must not be raised in the seating or concourse areas.

I think we should be able to get the 3 points here.

Blackwood will most likely start ahead of Opseth coming back into the squad. I hope he has a good game. As I hope every time he features.

Will be tough to get the three points. I'm not confident at all, but at least I can make this game after missing the last couple.

Also, on the wet night comment: I remember a small crowd (early AFC Cup round? or playing Wellington? or something?) where is absolutely bucketed down. By the end of the game everyone had either moved into the grandstand, or gone home early. No one in the north or south stands, and just me and my mate the only ones left sitting in the middle of the eastern stand ... absolutely drenched ... singing "We're f....... wet. We're f....... wet.". I always laugh when I remember that night. (Here endeth the lesson.)

Underage players who are in their professional clubs first teams are much better off playing club football than pretending anyone cares about underage international football.

This could really stall the forward momentum in his career.
One of the few times I'll disagree with you shin.

Olympics would arguably be the second most important national team event outside of the World Cup. Asian Cup is a close third.

You could see what it meant to the players after the final whistle of the Uzbek game. These kids will be playing on the world stage later this year.

Great for development, experience, exposure. Critical that we qualify IMO.

Agree.

Arnie said to the players after the game that qualifying was the greatest achievement of his coaching career.

Toure is now out for the season, Troisi is out for up to 3 weeks and McGree only has a 50-50 chance of playing.

Looks like Mauk will get a run.

Rain is forecast to stop around 3pm so should be all nice and clear for kick off.

Really really poor from GA allowing a player with a broken foot to continue playing. All the best with recovery Toure.
And we are yet again back to having no striker
