Western United should have never been admitted. Hope we destroy them 10-0 for that reason.

Curious on everyone's thoughts. Opseth, any more use than Baba so far? Seems to be injured pretty much constantly and has really not offered much to the team due to this.

All I can say is thank god we kept Blackwood over AP................ can't wait to watch Georgie stumble around the box for another week and ruin numerous chances through his unique ability to fluff good positions. :bang:

BTW, starting to find Bruce going on about our depth and quality a little boring, pretty obvious to me we lack depth in midfield and defence.

Bruce - Depth and quality
Verbeek - Players are not good enough

Hmmm

Spot on with your observation on Verbeek and Bruce, definitely seems to be different views which is a bit worrying.

Apparently AU is owned by a Chinese billionaire is what I have been told by a reliable source, so not sure why we don’t have any money for signings as the source was clear that money is definitely there in terms of ownership

Was just saying this after i saw the line up this week and yet again Opseth is injured. When we see him play i keep thinking hes looking a bit rusty but once he has a few consistent starts under his belt we'll get more out of him. That never seems to come. The void in quality of our visa players to that of others in the league is massive.

I was wondering if AP is one of the ex-players whos been sounding Bruce out. He hasn't been getting much of a chance at WU. He'd be much more valued in our setup focused on youth and attack at all costs. Not sure its the right solution for us but I'd take him.

Personally I'm still hoping that Isaias is hating life in Qatar and is yearning to return to his best buddy Bruce in Adelaide... :blah:

Yep agree on our visa players, about on par with Jets and CCM. Funnily enough, our best crop all signed under Griffin  most since the Spaniards have been average and/or injury prone

I just saw the whitten oval seating map....i genuinely am second guessing if i should go. Looks like were in slightly elevated "seats" about 40m from the closest part of the pitch. This whole thing had been a debacle from the begining.

At least when Baba played he scored or threatened to.
Opseth is rusty with glimpses of interplay but rarely looks like scoring himself.

I agree Rojos, baba just had the instinct and flashes of quality you want in a striker and looked dangerous- unfortunately just too injured to be of use.
Opseth plays like someone who is coming back from a long break out of the game or something. Looks ok but a level below baba in overall quality. Hopefully can get fit and string some games together
