That’s a penalty for Perth for me. Late challenge and all ankle after the kick. What is the var even for.

Game over.
Did they leave the VAR somewhere in the desert?

I honestly think the var wasn’t working tonight. Tow clear penalties that weren’t even looked at. One to us and one to them were clear cut pens.Perth Glory 3-0 Adelaide United

I think we'll roll Victory based on that. First 20-30 we dominated but have Blackwood leading the line.
Opseth needs to be fit enough to start.
Konstandopolous and Blackwood are wasting our time, would rather see Brook in mid and even Mileusnic playing as striker.
Strain out for Marrone also.

Re: Perth Glory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
I switched off just before half time due to the officiating.
Mileusenic was onside
2 clear handballs ( under the new ruless for the season )
The bogus foul when we were 1 on 1 with the keeper.
The clear pull back on halloran during our counter...
those decisions changed the game.
From what I saw we played quite well. We appeared to play like a good football side who was missing their 10 and 2 first choice strikers. ( opseth while in the team is still gaining fitness )
Im more than happy with our squad, its a very exciting team we have assembled however however take your attacking mid and 2 best strikers out and we will obviously struggle when playing with such a young side.
The trouble is you dont get to play youth and then have a melt down when an inexperienced side has a rough period. We need to keep troisi and our strikers fit and sharp or this squad will lack direction

I didn't watch the game but just in the comments re our young squad, I'm all for it and am happy with the young players we've got.
That said, in times when we are now 4 losses on the trot, we need some experience to come in and settle the team and get us playing consistent footy.
A bad run of results can be really detrimental to the confidence of young players and with their inexperience (even if they have talent) our form can fall off a cliff, which is what we are seeing.
Don't know where that experience is going to come from but I think it needs to be in midfield.

Missing Troisi, Opseth and Boland from a first 11 in reality is MASSIVE. Thats around 600 european games of experience. We really need a fit Boland to add some grit.
IMO one of the defining factors in winning the premiership in a capped league is keeping players fit.

Re: Perth Glory v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Tough game. It's hard to complain because we were playing better football in the first half and could have had 2 penalties go our way, plus the other bad calls that went against us. Going down 2 goals away from home and in the heat, it would have taken a lot to get back into the game.
In saying that....
Blackwood
Kitto
Strain
All not good enough. The effort is there from Blackwood and Strain but they seem to have no real effect on the game. Kitto on the other hand is garbage and I hate his attitude of throwing his hands up to blame everyone else when he fucks up.
Put Opseth/Toure, Troisi and Marrone into that starting lineup instead and we look solid enough. I think D'Arrigo is fantastic but as others have said, he's still young and he's not as good as Isaias.

I forgot to add i thought Mileusenic looked good In midfield.
He seemed to push out on the wing alot when maria tucked in, but I feel he actually looked quite good on the ball with a crowded midfield. Has come such a long way.
