WSW have been playing half decent football but are severely lacking in confidence especially in the front third.
Izzo and Blackwood both return to the squad.
Izzo's experience is good to have back. Not sure where our creativity is going to come from up front though. Verbeek seems set on playing troisi at DM alongside D'Arrigo, I'd like to see him deployed further forward as a CAM when McGree isn't playing.

Would love to see Maria in lw and mileusnic to come on in last 20. Mileusnic has had a poor month and just isn’t clicking. Let Maria bring some spark to the front third.

Way too hot, but at least it's not a 5pm kickoff. Trying to work out if I'll bother or not
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Yeah its a tricky call as I have been planning to attend all month and here we are with expected temps around 36/37 expected at 7pm. With a 6yo and 4 yo in tow, its a tough call on whether I will make it or not.
The lack of any cover is really hurting AU at Coopers with the weather these days!

Once again the stupid decision to play football in cricket season will impact both fans - and in a desperately and life-threatening way - the players. Game days with this temperature should be called off whatever the TV contracts say. Asking athletes to put in for 90+ minutes at high pace in 36C heat is abuse. Asking fans to sit in that heat is crazy.
It's time for football to decide that it can stand on its own two feet and to play in winter - because it's a winter sport.

Can’t disagree jessesdad, coopers is lacking big time for spectator comfort in hot or wet but the players safety is more important.
In places like Qatar, ko is often 9pm or later. If they insist on summer, then perhaps this is what is required. But also has its drawbacks.

It's quite ridiculous to expect athletes to run about in 37-degree heat in a game that goes on for 90 mins. I heard the commentators say that the women's world cup would mean investment to Coopers of $110K. ???? have we got it! Or is it 2 esteemed commentators making it up? - anyway, there'd be no roof extension according to Harper.

If there’s any modifications at Coopers it will be for the comfort of the broadcasters and media.

I thought I saw an article saying Hindmarsh would get $3m for the WWC but it would only be for temporary seating (corners) and upgraded media facilities (also temporary).
No covers over any of the stands.
