We've come away from Gosford in fine form however will be sweating on the fitness of Jakobsen and Mileusenic. Toure will be back however may be coming off the bench after all the football in China.

Victory are somewhat at sea and need this match to turn things around. They will be desperate so it should be a cracker at Coopers this Saturday.

Interview with Halloran in the paper today said that Jako and Milu are expected to be ready for the weekend.

I certainly hope so!
At least Elsey is fit again and got some minutes on the weekend.

Theres will be some spice to this game.

Home town boy returns to adelaide to face his former club and our biggest rivals. Our relatively popular ex coach on the sideline for mv.

This is a totally rediculous thing to say, but ill consider troisi a Red if he has some afters with his old team mates or fans lol

If he throat grabs Marco Kurz and can also invlove a plastic chair from Bunnings in some way, I'll finance a James Troisi statue for in front of Coopers stadium...

Did LOL.

Victory are dangerous with their backs against the wall, and Kruse got some minutes on the weekend.

We've played in patches so far this league season and it's time we rocked up and gave it to them from the off.

We always seems to be able to play victory into form. Having said that we did well last year against them so Hopefully we can get a fourth straight win!

Wouldn’t mind seeing Halloran return a few loose elbows to toivonen who seems to get away with so many.

I'll be away for this one, but what a night this will be. I've never seen a weaker filth team and conversely, I've never seen a more attacking AUFC. Even Gombau's teams at their mercurial best were not as dynamic, fluid and dangerous as our current Verbeek edition.

I don't for a moment want to jinx us, but this could be the best result we've had in years .... and imagine how we will be able to gloat over the corpse of the filth!

... and as an interesting sub-text to this weekend's mis-match - the filth's own forum has a "Sack Kurz" page that is already 6 pages long. Their previous "Sack MustKill" page ran to 30 pages before he finally went.

That is a fantastic sign of just how much sh!te they are in - after just 6 rounds, they already want their coach sacked; and he is, of course, the coach who took us to an FFA Cup trophy and within a couple of penalty kicks to another GF. The filth are in dire, dire trouble and I just can't get the smile off my face ...

Never gloat early. Wait. If it happens, roll in it until your covered. I'd be happy with 1-0. I'd be happier if it was 5-1. But you know they'll lift.

Nabbout is back this week and kruse has had some game time. Add toivenen to that front line with basha behind and they are no easy beats.

I think this will a very tight affair with a draw likely.

Re: the Kurz Out thread on their forum. It was a tongue in cheek thread started before they played a game, on the premise that their fans start calling for a coaches head well before they should. Having said that, I read the thread a while ago, it may well have taken a serious turn.

Hope Troisi scores and doesn't mute his celebration

Wouldn't be too confident at all. Might be without Jako and Mile who have been in stellar form. It will be a tough and bruising affair so I'm not expecting it to be pretty or free flowing which will hinder us.

Would take a 1-0 now if offered.

As long as we're in the game with a chance the atmosphere will be fantastic. Even better if we get the win.
