I hope I haven't jinxed us .... but I just love seeing them suffer!

I'll take a single goal win now. Victory always lift for us, as do we for them. Add into the mix that they put in a promising display against Sydney and that Kurz is a results specialist (if not a development or aesthetic football specialist).

That said, many of our recent results against them have been quite unpredictable.

The last time we certainly had a stronger squad than Victory, we smacked them 4-2 on a 35-degree night at Hindmarsh. That was nearly seven years ago. Maybe it's that time again...

I don't think this MV team is running hard enough or playing hard enough for Marco Kurz.

It looks to me like they are going through the paces and waiting for the inevitable "sacked in the morning" situation.

If we smash them I reckon he is gone, poor bugger.

Might make a couple of appearances off the bench.

I'm half expecting him to be shown the door in January and I wouldn't be overly surprised if Victory sign him.

We rarely beat Victory at home and we won't get many better opportunities to do so. We HAVE to win this.

We beat them on both occasions at home last season.

2-0 and 1-0

Long may it continue.

Halloran is apparently out with a hip injury while Toure won’t start either since he just got back from Olyroos duty.

I assume Maria will now play wing and Kitto to play left back and Blackwood to sit on the bench.

I think I'd rather have Kitto on the wing and Maria at left back. Also Armiento scored a hatty in the NYL so maybe he's another option for LW, or Troisi? Big shuffle then though.

Bring George onto the wing, leave Maria where he is and Kitto on the pine.

Sucks about Halloran. He's been in stellar form.

Any news on Jako or Mile?

Could be fairly light on all of a sudden if they're out!
