Why doesn't Fowler start Wenzel-Halls? No formative experience in the lower tiers of English football? Doesn't liked jellied eel?

We got away with that.
First half I thought we were the better side but in the second we gave them loads of chances. Thankful we got the goal from some individual brilliance by Troisi.

We were the much better side in the first 60 mins but we let Roar into the game and they could of had a goal or two. I wouldn’t go as far and say we got lucky but we need to be better defensively. Teams that don’t waste their visa spots on League Two players will punish us.

Great win tbh.
Would have been all to easy to over attack and get hammered on the counter.
I think troisi was the difference in this match, he was calm deep in midfield and put some dangerous balls in despite being deep. Pushing up late in the game against a tired defence was what the doctor ordered.
Im really liking Gertjan verbeek tbh. An attack minded manager willing to think outside the box with his approach to how we line up.
Based on what ive seen from other clubs this season I think we have a genuine shot .

A better team with better players would have scored against us in the second half, we gave them loads of chances I forget how many it was but it was too many. Fortunately for us the opportunities they had were scuffed out of play or over the crossbar. They had a 1 on 1 with Izzo too after Marrone totally mistimed a challenge. We were the much better side in the first 60 mins but we let Roar into the game and they could of had a goal or two. Came on here to post exactly this.We were the much better side in the first 60 mins but we let Roar into the game and they could of had a goal or two. I wouldn’t go as far and say we got lucky but we need to be better defensively. Teams that don’t waste their visa spots on League Two players will punish us.
First 60 minutes I thought it was only a matter of time before we scored.
Last 30 Brisbane probably should have had 1 or 2.
We missed D'Arrigo today. Troisi played really well but is wasted that deep. Needs to go forward more, like he did for that brilliantly worked goal.

Hate to be negative but both teams should have received minus 1 points for that effort. Troisi/McGree goal was fantastic, but neither teams will make the finals with those performances . Nicola and Kitto were playing at NPL level, their final balls were atrocious and Izzo was the busiest of the keepers. Anyway, onwards and upwards, unbeaten in three, bring on the Mariners. Free to watch on ABC next Saturday and then The Return of Kurz. Let’s make it five.

Kitto out, D'Arrigo in.
I'd still let Kitto come on for Mileusnic as he tires but he offers nothing at RB, Maria is much more effective.
A bit of a dull game, I think we were the better team but could have easily copped 2 goals.
5 players out injured, 2 on international duty in a 23 squad team. I think we're playing well and getting results but need some polish.
