Let's see if the bye has done us any favours so early in the season.

Reportedly Elsey, Blackwood and Boland have all trained with the main group this week. Of those I'd probably only bring back Elsey to the starting 11 and perhaps Blackwood can have a go on the bench because Opseth has been relatively ineffectual.

D'Arrigo v Mauk will be an interesting match up...........or would be, I just realised he and Brook are in Taiwan with the Young Socceroos. Damn.

I'd usually prefer Konsta over Lia but we might be a bit out of balance with him.

Early days but ...

We have 7 players out but I think we’ll still win.

Brisbane’s squad on paper is horrendous, have no spark in the final third and their defence is slow which plays right into our hands.

With the players available I assume the XI will look like.
