Whether Halloran starts or not I think we have quality on the wings to trouble City. Boland in will be massive too - a Boland-D'Arrigo-McGree midfield has big potential, mobile and strong defensively and offensively.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Does this mean Boland, Blackwood and Elsey aren't going to be in the team? I thought Elsey was mostly rested on the weekend so he would be ready for tonight???Just listened to Verbeek and Jako’s presser and Verbeek said the only change will be Strain in for Atabew. He is also unsure whether Toure or Halloran will start.
Another interesting thing Verbeek said was that Kusini Yengi was training with the first team before he got injured. This injury opened the door for Al Hassan and the rest is history.
If Yengi is even better than Toure which seems to be the case, then I can’t wait to see him in action! Does anyone know when he will be fit again?

Things just haven’t worked out for him here and it’s probably best for both parties to move on.
Maybe we could sell him back to Braunschweig in January as soon as we find a DM (Hopefully one that can also play CB).

9:30am KO in London.
Just started a new job so it will be a challenge to watch at my desk...
Feeling optimistic about this one. Should be a tough game but we matched them and bettered them for a lot of Sunday.
Strain is a big inclusion, the rest of the boys proved they can get the job done!
COYR!!

Maria in midfield is a weird one.
Re: FFA CUP FINAL! Adelaide United v Melbourne City 2019/2020
Some fresh legs with Strain, Halloran and Toure all starting.
Maria in midfield will be interesting. Gertjan must think him capable of playing almost anywhere on the park!
