opseth has a great touch

We looked so much more dangerous when Mileusnic came on.

Blackwood also did well today.

Agree that we looked better after Mile came on, but it was surprising because Toure was doing well I thought.

Not a second yellow for me on first viewing but I'll take it as a fixer upper for the elbow that Birraz threw in the first half.

Was a reasonably exciting game but we were sloppy. Looked likely to win after the equalizer but before the red they looked more 'hungry' than us.

Incidentally I watched the game live on the box in Vanuatu as it was shown on beIN.

Thoughts:

Good result but I didn't think the Blackwood, Opseth, Toure combo worked.

Another prime example of our need for a DM - CCM walked through our midfield at times and they're still one of the weakest teams in the comp IMO.

Opseth's showed some real nice touches, not least the assist for the goal.

Great result after a scrappy first half. We always looked the better team.
Lovely goals. Nice to see Richards get big for the one on one and make up for getting stuck under Simon's armpit.
I'm staggered that some people think Simon didn't deserve a card!!!! He's been doing that his whole career. You simply can't jump and swing your elbow into your opponents face at the same time. It's a technique issue and he has refused to stop doing it. I don't think he's malicious but he's bloody stupid and stubborn and he just cost his team....again. How many times now?
Elsey - who had a ripper for once tonight - was lucky not to lose teeth. Could have been a straight red.
Home final. How good is that?!! We'll have to lift our game again though.

I liked the look of Opseth, and Mileusnic definitely made us look better.

We haven't filled that Isaias-shaped hole in the midfield though. Mind you, we were lacking a workhorse in Boland.

Very happy,we played the young boy in the middle for what, 70mins? And still came away with the win.
Toure held his ground and played solid minutes.

This is a young developing side,I mean Blackwood played 10 and is considered a veteran.
