We’re playing City again in two friendlies today. Both teams fielded close to full strength squads for the first match and the reserves will play the second match.
We won the first match 2-1 with Toure scoring the first goal and Maclaren scoring for them. I’m not sure who scored our second.

We lost the second friendly 5-3.
City’s goal scorers were Najjar x2, Wales, Genreau and Atkinson.
Not sure who scored for us.

City’s goal scorers were Najjar x2, Wales, Genreau and Atkinson.
Not sure who scored for us.
Opseth scored a brace while Jai King scored as well.

We defeated Melbourne City 2-1, with Toure and Elsey bagging the goals.
There was a second friendly, with a younger lineup, but we lost that one 5-3.

I assume Blackwood played as the 10.
With the rise of toure it will be interesting if blackwood can reinvent himself on the wing or as a 10. He showed glimpses under kurz he could be a unique 10 it will be interesting if the new managers style suits him more.
