Old aufc would have ground out an unconvincing and disjointed win.

Maybe "old aufc" has been rebooted at "new MV" ...

MVFC lose to the jets 2-3 in extra time after leading 2-0 deep into the 2nd half!

I thought it would be harder to dislike victory with Muscat gone and Kurz at the helm but it turns out that No, it is still very easy to dislike victory.

Victory and Sydney out of the cup in the round of 32.

In other unrelated news, the remainder of the FFA cup has been cancelled due to lack of interest from the FFA...

A coin will be tossed to see if Sydney or Victory should be awarded the cup as the highest ranked clubs in the round of 32.

There’s already a Kurz out thread on the 442 forum.

It’s hilarious how fickle scum fans are 😂😂😂

Glory out too.

Top 3 teams from last season's league all out in their first round of the cup.

We drew Olympic FC from the QLD NPL for the Rof16.

Playing away, I think we have 1 watr member in QLD but I can't remember who...

A good enough performance. Not outstanding, but good considering it's our first competitive hitout of the year.

Looked disjointed going forward for the most part and there seemed to be a hole in the middle (but hey, look at who's no longer playing there). But no real complaints.

Maria looked good, and Halloran looked sharper than he did last season.

And Wellington go out to the Brisbane Strikers for what it's worth ...

I think we all know what to expect for the first third of the season given we have transitioned to progressive football managers previously.

A seemingly hot and cold 11 who can bag 3 goals quite easily and still be a risk of losing.

I dont mean that from a negative viewpoint either, we just know from experience the defence will be leaky and our attacks may not be on point until the team gels with the managers new style.

Round 8 seems to be the magical number.
