Fun to draw a team we played in the NSL :)

Will be a tough game given the pre season vs full season. Tougher then a few of the a-league teams I feel (again given its pre season).

Looks like Blackwood won't play.

Hopefully he sign another striker ASAP.

Absolutely crucial. No club can go into a season with one striker.

I assume our forward line for this game will be:

Mile-Halloran-Kitto

Now that we have Maria at LB and provided Mile is fit.

I am quite keen to see what Maria offers, though we should not get too excited, nor despondent, on the results of a single performance. Personally I am hoping he has a good, solid hit-out.

Can Pacifique play centrally?

The fact that he was signed without a trial (like Alberg) means the coach must have full faith in him.

Yeah I've heard Toure will get a run also.

You have to balance trying these lads out vs getting the win, after all we have a cup reputation to defend.

________Izzo
Marrone Elsey Jakobsen Maria
____ Boland Strain McGree
Mileusnic Toure Pacifique

Solid at the back, lightning up front.
