Baba scores on his return
Stama scores a brace in his last game
Blackwood 3 goals in 2..

What is this!?
Plot twists worthy of Game of Thrones.

Hope they move it to the Saturday, since I can't make Sunday games/

Looks like melb derby will get the Saturday night game for fta. Can’t play us Friday because that wouldn’t be fair on the nux. Seems like ffa love shooting themselves in the foot going up against afl and local youth comps. Not expecting a big crowd at all.

10-12K would be a good result against a low drawing opponent

If the FFA are smart, they will at least make it 2pm - miiiight catch some casual fans before they head to Adelaide Oval for the Crows game.

It doesnt feel like the aufc i know. Scoring freely? Multiple front man options?

Now we just have to get to that point of scoring freely without conceding freely. What is it with us and Brisbane? Mind you, I don't mind. 7 or 8 goals in a match makes for some good fun. I'd just like for us to be scoring a higher percentage of them. So glad to have a home final!!

Putting our home final up against the crows home game highlights the east coast centric nature of the league.

The melbourne derby will sell out regardless and victory will get a share in the profit at the gate. Where as AUFC may struggle to even make a profit at all when a saturday game would likely be a near sell out.

My problem with this is its prioritising having the melbourne derby on FTA tv assuming it will offer a greater impact to australian football than smaller clubs turning a profit from a hard earn home final.

I can see the argument for both sides of the coin, but at the end of the day the majority of the clubs in the league struggle to make any money at all and its debatable how many non football fans really care about the melb derby at all vs any elim final.

Well I'll be going to the Crows game with my old man, so that's 2 people who will miss.

Stupid scheduling.
