They were fighting for a contract last week too though.
Still I wasn't expecting Roar to implode last week and I am not tonight.

Boland's full-volley attempt goes to Row Z, much to the crowd's delight.

Kitto's signature stomach high cross came off once, so now that's all we're getting from him.

Halloran should have buried that or laid it off. Too good a chance to waste.

Halloran with a big chance. Unfortunately straight at the keeper. Still, we are finding it pretty easy to work our way through the Brisbane 'defence'.

Its almost too easy, we're making lazy attempts on goal.

It might come back to bite us, Shaun Evans might give us a casual red and they can come right back into it.

Apparently Beautheac may be Victory bound next season. Why would they want him? Injury prone, 12 yellow cards this season, very few goals, he doesn't seem to have great fitness. Could be the team around him though.

Brisbane peg one back. Mackay almost the fairytale goal. Good save by Izzo but rebounds straight to the roar attacker.

Brisbane score again in the 49th min of 3 mins of added time.

We have looked really flat since they scored. Started so well too. What a shame.

To be honest, the added time is kinda irrelevant. Both teams had 5 mins to score, only 1 did. We look really flat and we need to change our attitude at half time. Some of the passing from defence has been shocking and if Halloran had just squared the ball. Ah well, let's see how much we want this home final!!!!

Classic Evans reffing that was. Don’t think Jakobsen was even a free kick let alone a yellow.
