I'm still stunned as to why people are disappointed. We bemoan almost on a weekly basis how boring we are to watch, particularly at home. It's true, he's played a number of kids..... for a week.

As for the game, we simply have to win it. Mariners are on a bit of a high so they'll be dangerous.

I admire the way Kurz has handled him self in the media. That was a class act in that presser. I also love the passion and loyalty he shows to the club. But...the football has been drab. So many people are turning off. My brother - who I regard as the canary in the coal mine because he regularly gives up on the team while I am blindly loyal - stopped coming to games weeks ago. I am happy enough to step into void once more and hope we come out with a coach who plays entertaining football. Kurz might suit Brisbane and good luck to both. He certainly seems to speak with the confidence of someone who's not that worried about the future - because it's already sorted.

As for this game, we have a decent team to put out - bar a missing CB - so there's no reason this shouldn't be a good win. CC are on the up but they are still a poor team and shaky as hell. For all the talk, Kurz needs a good response from the boys to show that it does really matter to them all.

Blackwood for a hat-trick.

(Walks off laughing maniacally into the sunset....)
