Kurz said long termOkay but how long is he out for? Could be one game, could be 6 with ankles.Did his ankle last week.Apparently Halloran was in a moon boot at the game?
Whispers that hes been carrying niggles since the Cup final.

Wasn't Boland a revelation tonight. Such positivity going forward which we've really lacked this season. Will be good to have him back.

Nice write-up. Can you do this every week please.Oh, wow!!! One of the worst games of football but one of the best nights ever at Hindmarsh. That's what makes football so bloody brilliant.
Kurz starts with Kitto and Ilso!!!!
Ilso unlucky but brought it on himself. Hopefully he can relax into being our mascot. I'm prepared to make him a nice costume.
Referee considers multiple other careers suggested by his mother.
Red defending in the first half beyond belief - and in no good way.
Brisbane goals really quite good.
We're totally f**ked!
The God of AU, Isiais sends manna from heaven into the top corner. Sweet as....
Half time comes and I predict that we'll score 6. Still recovering from bursts of laughter and tears during first half.
Boland and Mile make such a difference. We look like a team with gravitas. Kurz gets 15 points bonus!!
George Blackwood gets bollocking from everyone in the stands for being useless.
Brisbane get scared of full-on Reds attacks and all try to get sent off. Two of them manage it. Well played.
Jamie Young really pissed that he didn't manage to break Goodie's neck and asks if he can stay on to have another go.
Goody recovers from life-threatening attack and bounces ball off the wall to prove he can score with his right. New keeper apologises for Jamie by leaping over the ball. Well played, sir.
George gets sick of the stick and decides to show us why Man City's scouts watch him every week (or so his mum says) by scoring beautiful goal.
Brisbane decide to play in one half of the pitch because they're a bit tired.
Kurz takes off the brilliant Galloway for the very interesting Armiento. He proceeds to wind Goody up refusing to run on to any passes. Funny guy. Crowd slightly bemused by the change and suggest Kurz should lose his extra 15 points.
Armi takes the piss even more by showing Goody just how a cross should be weighted and collects $50 from Mile for the assist too. Clever kid doubles his wage for the week. Kurz gets his 15 points restored and an extra 50 for his excellent dance and song.
Crowd collapses after seeing the best ever game of comic football.
Referee senses redemption but is mugged in the tunnel by Brisbane manager. Considers other job opportunities.
7000 people lose their voices on Sunday.
A good night.

That's funny.

It's Nick Meredith. Would you expect anything less? I thought he had a decent shout for a pen tbh.Blatant bias. Calling for armiento to get carded was rubbish just after talking up a roar olayer for playing for the free kick.
If it was shoulder to shoulder, he'd still go down because he's pretty small, not because he was diving.
Fortunately I lost the audio on my stream around the 20 minute mark. Meredith was doing my head in.

Re: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar Match Day Jamboree!!!©
watched the replay last night without hearing any results first and boy oh boy I'm glad I did...
Talking points:
- Ilso - should have been yellow - but even so a stupid move to get carded for no reason in the first 10 minutes. In a game like that it would only be a matter of time before he got a second.
- Isaias free kick - decision should have gone the other way.
- Ingham - what a dickhead, cost his team big time
- Young - As above, but that was a dreadful 'challenge' and he should be rubbed out for several weeks.
- Armiento - went down a bit easily but there was an arm across him. neither a pen nor a dive. Some nervy minutes but what a peach for that cross for Mileusnic's header
- Nick Meredith - fk right off and never commentate again. What an absolute nonce.
What a game. What a club.

I think the free-kick for the Isais goal was there. They never showed the whole sequence of events on the replay, but looked like Hingert grabbed Goodwin's shirt first.watched the replay last night without hearing any results first and boy oh boy I'm glad I did...

You're kidding, that was a foul on the edge of the area every day of the week, particularly after what transpired half an hour earlier. Lucky it wasnt a penalty.watched the replay last night without hearing any results first and boy oh boy I'm glad I did...

Also, the foul by Ilso was barely a yellow. After another foul yes, but 10 minutes in and slight contact ?? Even McKay shook his hand..... and that little flog usually wants to fight everyone.
