Preview: Adelaide United v Brisbane Roar -- 02.02.19
After that Hectic January we slip into Fabulous February.
Brisbane at home.
Can we bank on three points?
Who knows, I don't.
Maybe George Henry Raymond Blackwood will start and score again.
Imagine that!?!

Brisbane are in turmoil but with a guy like Taggart up front they're always dangerous.

Last week we played the bottom team and the next 4 games are against the other 3 down the bottom and an inconsistent Melbourne city. We need to really push for 9-10 points from these 4 games.

I think 3 Saturday night games in a row too. Yay for those who don't have FOX.Last week we played the bottom team and the next 4 games are against the other 3 down the bottom and an inconsistent Melbourne city. We need to really push for 9-10 points from these 4 games.

If any game this season had "comfortable win' written all over it, it's this one. If we can't beat the Meow by at least 2 sausage rolls on Saturday night at Coopers, then we don't deserve a top six spot.
The Meow is the worst team in the competition; even worse than the Central Toast, which is saying something. Their only decent defender, Papastopawhatadopolopous, left last week, so clearly he had had enough of busting his guts just to be in a team that loses every week. (They would be bottom, but for him). The Meow is a shambles and looks very much like the scratch team at a park BBQ in which half the team has only just met and the other half are the kids.
I am usually extremely wary of being overconfident, but this isn't just a must win for us, but in AFL terms, it will be a percentage builder.

Traditionally these are the games where we fail to turn up.

Or we wait until the opposition hit the lead to start playing.Traditionally these are the games where we fail to turn up.
Surely we can't play multiple defensive mids again this week ??

Very positive news. Hopefully we are in a position to give them a decent run off the bench and get some match fitness back into their legs.Boland and AP back to full training today.

Bench: Margus, Marrone, Boland, Mileusnic, Thomassen (if he's ready to hit the ground running, AP Stama if not)
Unlucky to miss out: Ilso, Stamatelopoulos, Kitto
Suddenly we have a shitload of strikers, how did this happen?
