Kilkenny gets 2 votes in the Alex Tobin medal, dives and hacks all game, does nothing else of note. Makes sense.

The A-league ...

As you yourself pointed out, 72nd "best" league.
And the 72nd "best" referees as well.

Acceptable result considering everything. We lack depth in almost every area...
I dont see that personally, most of our depth is playing and we were good value for a win away from home against the league leaders.

If that's the case, no side in the HAL has depth.

Lia played way too deep in the first half and it cost us forward pressure.
We resorted to long balls for the most part.

The second half we were much better. and controlled the ball in Perth's half, unfortunately we couldn't covert any chances.

Marrone had a shocker. Tired players everywhere.
Hopefully we see some squad rotation to give some players a rest.
We are UNITED, after all....

I had that feeling as well. Not so much in the running and covering, which was good, but in the drop in technical skills. With two away games at either end of the country in a short space of time, the lads can be excused for feeling a bit stiff.

At least Jakobsen should be feeling fresh!

It concerns me still that we seem to be relying on the same players... its no wonder they are tired.

We've played the same 15 really from Izzo, Marrone, Jakobsen, Elsey, Strain, Galloway, Isa, Lia, Nathan K, Ilso, Blackwood, Goodwin, Millensuic, Halloran and Kitto

But I guess the club knows best the fitness level, I just wonder why we signed so many kids to not use them at all (Outside AP when we lost all our striking options)
