Mark's facial expression said it all after another directionless ball was thumped into the box.
It said "This is what I have, what do they expect of me, should I really bother".

Yeh I saw that one too, I think it was a Kitto cross that cleared the penalty box and Kurz turned away in disgust.

I was wondering who "Mark" was.
You meant Marco Kurz ...

Jeez I'm slow sometimes.

No worries.
I understand Kurz's frustration.

How can professionals consistently cross so poorly?

I'm a big fan of Ryan Strain and would love to see him moved in to the midfield but his distribution was woeful on Sunday. Crosses way off, wayward balls for Mileusnic to chase after.

Not his best effort.

Interesting stats on crossing accuracy % from this season when comparing again the 5 teams above us, we are second best. That seems incredible considering how many times a game we cross way too deep or straight into the first defender.

And even more interesting, we lead the top 6 in succesful crosses. Only WSW has more (47).ImageImage

We were brilliant early on, it's really only been the Welly home game and on the weekend when we were poor.
