It could only have been bettered if Goody's chance right at the end of extra time had gone in ... if he had used his head instead of flinging a boot at it, we would have been 3 - 0 up at halftime over the filth.A more perfect first half?
That is nitpicking though; it was an incredible performance and easily their best of the season. everyone contributed and it is very difficult to pick out a best 3.
As a by-the-by - the jungle drums are saying that we have offered Fornaroli $1m a year to come over. If City can do the honourable thing, then it is blue sky ahead for us.
ps/ Shaun Evans did his best to get the filth over the line, but we won despite his blatant bias. He is now officially the most biased ref in the league.

Evans did fine - seemed fairly even officiating to me.
I want to give every player a point. Huge efforts all round.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Probably the most egregious example - among many - was not giving a second yellow card to Corey Brown, for hacking down Ryan Strain, mid-second half. The entire stadium could see that it was another yellow offence; I was quite close to the filth supporter bays and plenty of them had their hands in the air or covering their faces, because they knew he was about to be sent off. Noone could believe it when Evans simply paid a free kick. The only reason that he didn't pay it was because he knew that it would mean Brown being sent off.Evans did fine - seemed fairly even officiating to me.

There were other examples, but that was the most obvious.
Nonetheless, you are dead right in saying that every AU player on the park deserved a vote! It was a fine all round performance and it was a 90 minute effort too; something that we haven't been able to say before.

I remember being outraged at the lack of a card but didn't realise he was already on a yellow! My mistake - that is a pretty ordinary miss from the ref.

Isaias dominates year after year. BOG. again.
If he was in Sydney or Melbourne he would be rushed into the NT.
