Had to give it to Halloran, Izzo and Mileusnic, all of whom fought like tigers. Everyone put in a good, hard shift though and there were no obvious passengers. Halloran is for me the hardest working player in the squad; he just runs all day and never fails to fight for the 50-50 balls.
It was good to see Georgie B. finally back and getting some minutes into his legs too. He has the knack of being in the right place at the right time, which is a priceless gift for a striker; now if he can just work on his finesse and first time touch, he will be an exceptional point man for us.
It wasn't a pretty win but the style has to be built on a solid base and Marco is building that solid base.
