Hopefully Georgie returns this week and Ilso hasn't cracked the shits after being sacrificed.

Yeah Ilso getting dragged was a weird one, I guess it was just the fact that as probably the least-fit attacking player in the team he was a luxury we couldn't afford with 10 men. He did well in the short time he was on.
Will be good to see Georgie back ... wonder how far away Boland is?

I think I'm resigning myself to a mid-table finish but Newcastle have also underdelivered so far after a great 17-18 season and what looked like some good recruiting, so i farken hope we can take the game to them.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

If he can come in and have a similar late season impact, which I'm confident he can, we will be in good shape.

Different player obviously but very very crucial to our setup.

At dire risk of being the resident grammar Nazi, the past tense of 'forecast' is 'forecast'.

On the thread's point though - it's a bewildering decision; it says to the women that their match doesn't matter and scheduling it when some will be heading back to work or dropping the tin lids at vacation care is fine, because it's 'only' the women's match. That attitude is as depressing as it is wrong; just reschedule the match to a different week, as would have happened for the men's teams. One standard should apply for all.

I think the next night would be better than first thing the next morning but I wonder if it's to save on the costs of flights, accomodation for the Adelaide team?

It's a shame because I think having the women's teams play curtain raisers to the HAL games is going to grow the W-league, but I guess the flip side to that is the women's teams probably get none of the gate takings when it's a curtain raiser.
