Kurz to Brisbane?
Being conversant with the intricacies of the local competition is high among the pre-requisites for the post, and the 49-year-old German ticks that box, along with several others, as the field of 120 applicants narrows down to just a handful of serious contenders.

Despite guiding the Reds to successive FFA Cup finals since his arrival in 2017 - they beat Sydney FC to lift the trophy last year - the ex-Bundesliga coach has not been offered an extension, pointing to possible tensions between himself and the Dutch-fronted consortium, which owns the club.

Scheisse ...
There seems to have been no talks with the owners at the end of February.
I wonder if this is a "Dutch - German" thing.

In the wilderness again.
Rudderless.
Motherless.

As long as we are well down the path of finding our own new man i don't mind.

I said months ago he wouldn't coach us next year, not many people believed me.

Add lack of communication to members as well Sevengoals.
I am completely disapointed in comms as with most seasons, but honestly think the last 4 months have been the worst in memory. What is the point of paying for membership- there has been zero updates on Kurz, directions of club, goals etc. since the first month or two of the new owners. Is Piet in China permanently? Are the secret owners actually a recently jailed Colombian drug lord? Anything is possible.

I don't see the point of paying for membership and this will be my last season, I will just buy a ticket when I feel like turning up. How do they expect people to buy into the club when every 2nd season is a complete upheaval of players, backroom staff etc..???

I'll buy a membership because I want to support the players, I don't see why that should change.

“I’m still waiting for him (van der Pol) to contact me as promised,’’ Kurz said after Adelaide training on Thursday before meeting Perth Glory at Hindmarsh Stadium on Friday.

“I left him a message four weeks ago, it was on the 21st of February.

“I’m still waiting for a call back, that’s the situation because I have a lot of points to discuss with him.

“But not only my personal future, also the goals for the club.

“I would like to understand what the goal for this season is. I want to know what is the long term goal for the club.

“That for me is important.

I'm growing more concerned about the situation there by the day.

There's another article about the club not training at playford because the sprinkler systems broken and the grounds become too hard.

Finally a comment from the club.
But seriously we have Kurz talking in the media and clearly unhappy at a number of things such as “no discussion with chairman, no idea of season or long term goals of the club” as per his media conference. Our training facility not to standard too.
Yet Piets statement is talking about how great the season has been.
Clearly issues behind the scenes....,

Yeah this is getting ugly.

It's untenable for Kurz now IMO. Best for all parties he goes.

Best for all parties to sort this mess out because we will crash and burn.

No vision, no stability, no future.

Keeping him isn't going to work, not now.

So cut the cord and get on with it.

Treating someone like crap is not sorting anything out.

Lack of respect.

I agree to an extent.

Piet has certainly handled this poorly, and Kurz is now throwing petrol on the fire. Sort it out behind closed doors, let Marco go on his merry way and get whoever you want.

This situation has damaged the club, and any prospective manager will be watching closely.

Mind you, I think they've already got who they want and we will find out soon enough.

Correct.

I wonder how many players will follow Kurz to Brisbane ??
