Re: FFA Cup Final: AUFC v Sydney
Ah shit, anybody have or know somebody selling a GA ticket?
Re: FFA Cup Final: AUFC v Sydney
I'm pretty gutted but I'm struck down with a virus so won't be getting to Adelaide and won't be getting to the game.
I have 3 tickets. Ones' a concession and the other two are kids tickets.
I'd sooner just email them to one person who can use them if possible. If that suits you, pm me.
They're free, just want them to end up in the right hands. Happy to send to anyone on here who knows of someone to give them to who might not ordinarily go etc..

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make it! Just found out I have got tickets from another source so I am all set, but i am sure plenty of people would be happy to have them.I'm pretty gutted but I'm struck down with a virus so won't be getting to Adelaide and won't be getting to the game.

I thought we would of seen team sheets by now. Maybe the FFA are too busy putting out VAR fires.

Any word on the team list?
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: FFA Cup Final: AUFC v Sydney
Agreed. Ben looks lost at the pointy end. Boogs & NTS were just lapping up all those long balls last Friday night. Not sure Ilso is the answer either though. His hold up play hasn't been exactly stellar. He tends to turn and run down blind alleys too much. That would be my plan also, i dont understand kurzs reasoning for putting halloran in the middle when its unlikely our midfield will put any through balls in for halloran where as Ilso can play with his back to goals.I think Kurz will probably use the same starting 11 as for Newcastle.
Personally i'd consider Konsta into midfield, ilso to striker and Halloran onto the wing. That would be very harsh on Strain, but I think he would be the perfect utility off the bench - at fullback where he'd still be effective in attack, attacking midfield if we needed a change up, or on the wing - he'd certainly make an impact.
We are very predictable without a big target upfront.
I'd give AP a crack - young, big and strong with plenty to prove. Won't happen though.

Re: FFA Cup Final: AUFC v Sydney
Stamatelopoulos is still away with the Young Socceroos isn't he?
I think we'll start with the same front three again. Not sold on Strain as a winger, but he's gotten a few decent crosses away.
Don't want to see Ilso in midfield this game. Stick him up front either to start or off the bench, but it should be either Boland (if fit) or Konstandopoulos partnering Isaias and Lia in midfield.

Yes, though they were rolled by Saudi Arabia last night so he should be on the plane home. Even if he makes it back in time I'd doubt he'd be in great shape coming straight off the plane. He should be good for the weekend.Stamatelopoulos is still away with the Young Socceroos isn't he?
