Over 6,300 members now. A nice jump in the last week.

Would expect 3 game memberships to go up during the season also, i think many are still testing the waters with new owners.

... which means that we just passed Perth for membership numbers, which moves us up to seventh in the gross membership figures - a good outcome.

I'd be interested to see the 'per capita' figures for each A-League team. Would that show, for instance, that the highest support percentage (total population/n. of members) is actually Central Coast? As the smallest city, it has the biggest fight to sign paying members.

I wonder if a switched on WATR contributor would be willing to do some quick back of the beer coaster per capita membership figures?

I don't consider myself switched on but I did those figures a season or two ago and yes CCM was the best side for members per capita. Even if you divide the big cities by 2 for their clubs their numbers were still lousy comparatively. Although Victory's impressive numbers got them close from memory. Looking at those per capita figures Sydney FC's number were terrible, such poor engagement numbers of such a large audience. Personally that club doesn't haven't a leg to stand on as far as complaining about a new club 25km South of the city while they can barely drum up sustainable support within the area they play.
