18/19 kits

Postby sub007 Fri Jul 27, 2018 2:42 pm

FFA Cup kits have been released and they look good. The home one has a retro feel to it with the blue shorts.

Anyone know when the HAL kits will be released?

They look good...except for that random white trim on the collar of the home kit.

On that note, I really wish we’d do away with white as an alternate colour. Make the damn away kits yellow already!

I don't really like the kit, but that's just my personal taste.

Seeing as it is a separate kit for the cup I'd like to see something a bit different to normal, not crazy or weird just different. CCM have a sky blue colored kit this year.

Pretty boring IMO. But I'm fine with the club not placing a massive amount of resources into the FFA Cup kit.
It's red so there will always be love there from me!

Yeah, as long as the kit is red that is all that matters. All the other stuff is just nonsense.

Some say it’s a bit arrogant to do a home and away kit for a knockout comp but I love it. There used to be some dodgy kits but the comp is gaining some real cred now.

I am a big fan of the black away kits, white is boring.

We need a clash kit that is just so bat shit crazy that it will divide oppinion and make people want to buy it.

Imagine an early 90s style kit that is just so unfashionable that you have to have it? Or something like the Nigerian wc kit.

IMO the clash kit is an opportunity to do something a bit crazy , no one really cares about the clash kit so why not be bold?

All this fuss about what the players wear, it is nothing compared to what they do.

8 posts? 🤔

Beautiful shirt bpowell454, now we're talking. Don't even need the blue. Just add black to the shirt or red/yellow shirt, black shorts. Top kit.

I was not referring to only what was happening in this thread.

Yeah I agree. The key is to make it look outragous without seeming like it's intentional.
I think they should get the sponsor involved.
AU has IGA why not do something crazy like have a kit with avocados printed on them for example?
Image

When Coopers was the sponsor AU could have had this as an away kit.

It's little things like this that would certainly get non-football people talking and it's always nice to see any organisation show a sense of humour about themselves.

Nice graphic and nice sentiment but that font is disgusting.
