2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
The fixtures are supposed to be released tomorrow.
I have heard that we are hosting Sydney FC in round 1 but not confirmed yet.

2 home games against vick too ... hopefully they're at Hindmarsh and we've done away with this Adelaide Oval rubbish
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
No a huge fan of themed rounds. Hopefully we are spared the embarrassment of star wars rounds and things like that this season.“There are three (3) official themed rounds this season; Remembrance Round (4), Female Football Round (5) and Play Football Round (18). This edition of the Remembrance Round will be of special significance as it will coincide with the Centenary of the Armistice. Also for the first time the Hyundai A-League will hold an ANZAC day fixture between Brisbane Roar FC and Adelaide United at Suncorp Stadium which will kick-off at 2pm.
“Following an off-season review, and with the success at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, we will continue with the use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system however in a new centralised facility.
FOX SPORTS will show all matches of the Hyundai A-League 2018/19 Season and Hyundai A-League 2019 Finals Series live.
Network Ten will broadcast one Saturday night match a week and the Hyundai A-League 2019 Finals Series live.
All Hyundai A-League 2018/19 and Hyundai A-League 2019 Finals Series matches will also be available on the MyFootball Live App, Live Fast and Data Free for Telstra customers
Original Rivalry: Adelaide United vs Melbourne Victory

Round 12 (Wednesday 9 January 2019 @ Coopers Stadium)

Yeah not a fan of themed rounds either, remembrance round is the only one that needs to be there.
Im as big a supporter as any of equality, however public discussion has become toxic recently and unbalanced (imo) would just prefer not to be force fed the latest buzz media outrage and it spilling into football.
If FFA were serious about it the matildas would have played in adelaide by now so we can all celebrate our female national team, im confident adelaide would sell out coopers for a matildas match! /endrant

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
The league continues during the asian cup ( fair enough really ) but all international dates are observed.
There is a chance we could be missing goodwin and elsey during the asian cup if they play to their potential

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
Needs more Saturday home games, there are almost as many Wednesday games as there are Saturdays.
2 Wednesday
3 Saturday
4 Friday
5 Sunday.
This is all wrong.

Re: 2018/19 Hyundai A-League fixtures
well yeah but I assume there have to be a certain number of games across the league played on Wednesday nights - 2 of 14 I can live with.
My own preference is for more Friday night games, followed by Sunday & then Saturday, but that's just splitting hairs

I can only go to Saturday games unless work circumstances change, which is possible, and there is only 3 all season and none until next year.well yeah but I assume there have to be a certain number of games across the league played on Wednesday nights - 2 of 14 I can live with.
