Wow Jean Carlos Solórzano plays for Lions FC. I'm expecting AU's trip to Queensland to be better than the last time they played an FFA Cup game up there.

yeah I love that a lot of the foreign imports decide to settle in Australia once their top-flight careers are over. It can only be a good thing for our domestic football in general.

Lions are a good side and this should be an interesting match - I'm tempted to try to align a trip up to Brissy to see family with this game! Anyone know the rough dates for the R16?

Comets v Heidelberg should be a cracker too.

One of the toughest non HAL opponents for the Comets..... and for us too for that matter.

Hopefully a touch better than our last visit to an NPL club up there.

Disappointing the two sa teams are playing at the same time. Would have loved to attend the comets game at Marden but will instead be at home watching the telecast to get both games.

Comets is at Adelaide Shores apparently, which makes it much less inviting.

lions are tearing the npl up. A very very good team that makes me nervous about this one.

They just finished the season here in qld.
Lions came top with 22wins and only 3losses. 80 goals for and only concede 11goals all season. Quality team with second place being 9points behind

Going to be a massive test for us. They'd be match fit and at full flight having just finished their season.

Half Time and both Sydney and MV are down 1-0 to NPL teams.

MV score 2 to bring it level, then Apia score a third with 10 minutes to play. They hold on to win 3-2.

Biggest HAL club and A-league champions lose to an NPL team that played 120 minutes on the weekend.
