Sad to see another championship player go but I wish him the best. He's been a fantastic representative of the club and played the best football of his career, earning him a call up to the Socceroos.
The way Greg Griffin spoke about him at the end of last season still pisses me off. It felt like he was gone from that point on, who would want to play for someone like that.
Good luck Tarek!
Thanks Tarek

completely echo the above post!
He gave us his best years on the pitch and is an absolute champion and role model off the pitch.

Well done to the club for this video, would have been nice if previous regimes gave club legends a voice when they depart the club.

Re: Thanks Tarek
I understood where Griffin was coming from, but it should never ever have been played out in public.
As for Tarek, never have I met a more passionate man about football and life in general. He loved the club and its fans, sponsors and teammates like they were his family. He was gutted by the way we treated Chelo and Eugene, as we all were.
Wish him nothing but the best, wouldn't even begrudge him a goal against us..... as long as we win.

Re: Thanks Tarek
My favourite player for quite a few seasons now. I will still wear my No.21 away shirt with pride at Coopers for years to come. Not the most gifted technically, but a real blue collar, roll your sleeves up and give 110% trier. Which is exactly why I will never ever forget that goal against City – just shear grit and determination, he refused to be stopped. A truly magic moment.
Thanks for the memories Tarek.

Great player for us. Hopefully this sort of farewell interview becomes the norm for long term players.
