Surprised the Jets are so low after their best season in years. Thought people would be keen to jump straight on board. Image

Club announces a new advisory board on connecting with the community.

The level of detail in that announcement suggests to be they are serious and this is not some token effort that will amount to zilch

Looks like Aurelio Vidmar could be back at the club.

I like it, he's not the perfect coach but has some areas of strength, set pieces and so forth.

Had always assumed brother Tony would be next in line after Kurz as well.

I like it. His style wasn't beautiful but it was effective ... and I can only imagine he's done a lot of developing over the past decade!

The club has made a lot of great signings BUT how'd we let this guy slip through our fingers:

- Father from Adelaide
- 28 years old
- German
- CB (could have come in instead of Jakobsen)
- Largely played in Bundesliga 2

New kit design leaked on FIFA. Our away strip makes me think of the German national team. The home kit looks pretty simple, plain red with a blue strip around the neck, no buttons or folded collar.Image

Meh. Red is red so great but..
..too much blue, not enough yellow, one too many ovals around the sponsor and why the 'R' again for the registered trademark, does that really have to be there????

Agree with the sentiment of too much blue.

Fave kit is still the Cooper's Errea kit with a nice yellow accent on it.

I reckon the circle around the IGA logo is the only aspect of either I'm not a fan of, very happy with these kits otherwise.

I know no one likes the circle around the IGA logo, but that's just their logo. They're not gonna change their national logo for a sponsorship...

New kits do look pretty smart still aside from a few grumbles. A step up I reckon.
Now to match those smarts on the pitch.
Can this season just start already?

Sometimes their logo has the white ring. Other times it doesn't.
This if from their website.

It's not a massive deal but I just think the logo would integrate into the shirt better this way.

I agree it would integrate with the shirt better, but anyone in marketing will tell you that this would compromise the identity of the brand or something like that.
