Good tune up for finals against a team who could be very desperate. Should be resting the skipper this week, but otherwise I'd be going with our best 11.

Speaking of Red Army, where were they against SFC? No wig, no nothing.

They do not appear a happy bunch over there (the supporters, that is). A place that experienced instant success was always a risk of having a lower tolerance level for longer term projects. They prefer a McMuffin over a paella.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think red wig guy has had some health problems. It was mentioned in commentary one match.

If that's true I hope he recovers soon.

I hope we win, but I'm not too enthused. We have no strikers, I don't know what's happening with Gulum as he's living in Melbourne and the rumour that he & Schenkenveld from M. City are trading places died.
With the Wanderers playing at home and the uncertainty of being only 1 point above Perth & Brisbane, they're effectively playing for a spot in the finals...............so a big game .
Somehow I doubt they want to play Victory, so 1 nil to the Wanderers will be fine for them.

He's living in Melbourne ?? I know he just had a baby and might want to be near family but if that's the case id sack him now.

If I'm being honest, I don't see how Gulum earns so much money. He's not the best defender in the league but probably earns more than nearly all of them put together.

Good on him though, respect for what he's done in his career that led him to this point. I just don't see a HUGE jump in quality between him and Taylor Regan, and I actually rate Jordan Elsey higher than Gulum.

Win, draw or lose by less than 3 goals and we play Victory next Sunday night in Melbourne.

They have ACL on Wednesday at home.

I can confirm that he had to take time out, but seems to be on the mend now.

I'm with you there about Elsey's quality.
